Vaccine Safety

Parents often have concerns about vaccine safety.  The physicians at Saugatuck Pediatrics strongly endorse the CDC and AAP schedule of recommended vaccinations and feel that the vast benefits greatly outweigh the minimal risks involved.  It is important to remember that “anecdotes” do not equal “data,” and “correlation does not equal causation.”  Many car accidents happen after you fill up with gas.  The gas doesn’t cause the accident, it is the fact that you are in the car that is the link.  Below is a well vetted list of scientific articles, web reviews and blogs that provide accurate and scientifically sound information about vaccine safety and efficacy:
